A sub-objective represents a business stage such as understanding the need, confirming budget, or checking the timeline.

Roles

Role	Meaning
Required	This stage must be covered for the configured objective.
Contributing	This stage improves qualification but is not mandatory.
Optional	This stage enriches the conversation when useful.

Reorder sub-objectives by drag and drop or with the keyboard. The ordering strength chosen on the Objective page determines how strictly NBQ follows this sequence.

Empty sub-objectives

An empty sub-objective is not useful to the runtime. Add questions manually, import them, or use the AI generation assistant and review its proposals.

Use names that make sense to a business user. Technical ranking parameters remain internal to the engine.
